Uncle Chuy always had a special meaning in my heart. I had the honor to stay with him and his family back in the summer of 83 as I visited from Texas. Since I didn’t have a dad around I always wondered how it would be to have a dad and that summer I found out. Uncle taught me how to change a tire and do your own brakes, things I guess a dad shows to an eager kid. Yet what was even more fascinating was the ways all his daughters looked up to him yet he spoke very quietly and very few words in my opinion. In a special way he mentored me which is really special now that I  have daughters myself and always will recall that special summer. Uncle Jesse will always be that special role model who in only 90 days influenced a lifetime of decisions I make today. I miss you uncle but in a way glad you are back with my aunt and cousin Connie up in heaven. God Bless you and thanks for helping my mom out during tough times.
