Edward born in Endicott, New York, shortly before the family ventured to California about a year later, where the family took up roots and Edward continued to reside, until a year ago. For the last year, Ed was very much a part of the Pearson Home 2 in SE San Jose, a group home for the handicapped with a great staff and management, that were most receptive to his needs and will be missed there. One place you could find Edward for over 38 years, where he joined as an employee, and was deemed one of the longest term employees with the Hope Services Workshop located on Parkmoor Avenue, San Jose. Edward was very much a part of the establishment therein, where he signed on just after graduating high school. A most dedicated employee, held in high regard by staff, management and fellow employees, Edward worked right up until illness made it impossible to continue, and it was a goal of his to return to his position, although made impossible in the end. Edward will miss his old job as much as the facility will miss him. Many a friend were made there over the many years, with associates as well as staff. Eddie will be missed even more by family, who number many, although his immediate family has dwindled over the years as time marches on. Besides his parents now deceased, Edward was part of a family who have grown to watch all the major changes and evolution of Santa Clara Valley, as it's grown from the orchards and farmland it was, to the Silicon Valley and Manufacturing Giant it is today.
