It’s been a long time, but I remember who you are. Artists remember each other. Di was a artist and a lover of music. She didn’t like confrontation and she was never mean or spiteful. She always had something to say, but often held onto it unless she was feeling sassy. I’m sorry I didn’t get to know her over the last few years and now I’m sorry that I never will. May she rest well. 

I’ve known Janae and Diana since middle school. I  used to go over their house almost every day and hang out. The DeGuzman family have always been hospitable. I have some great memories of Diana and I. We were always laughing, joking and dancing in her living room. We had lost touch for many years but the memories stay the same. I’m going to miss you my friend.

I was a young buck while Diana was older than me.  I remember Diana being the most beautiful and sweetest girl in our community. Her sweetness stood out the most, as her sister and she roller blade around the block and say Hi to my sisters and I. I felt like she was the angel in our community and pray that continues to be that angel for all of us. 

May you rest in paradise, Diana. 

You brought joy and laughter in our family's life. The kids and I will never forget you. We will cherish the artsy things you use to do.
