He was born in Monterey County to Antonio Soliz and Tommie Rosales and raised by stepfather Arnold Quintana. Preceded in death by his father, his mother, his stepfather, three siblings (Eloise Cronkite, Gloria Castillo, Angelina Sartori) and his beloved wife Sally of 37 years. David is survived by his stepchildren Donna and George, children David Jr, Joey, Michael, Ashley, siblings Sally Morse, Carmen Riley, Mary Lynn, Katherine Warren, Tony Soliz Jr., Theresa Aguilar-Smith, Anna Bisson, Richard Soliz, John Duran, Emma Quintana, Arnold Quintana, numerous nieces and nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
David attended Seaside High School and received his AA Degree in the medical field which he worked for 22 years. He was currently a surgical aide at Valley Medical Hospital.
His love for life and helping people went above and beyond; no words can express. He would give his last dime and meal to anyone who needed it. His passion for barbequing and feeding people was a natural thing to do - That was David and Sally always together as a team helping others, as well as being an avid fisherman.
He was also a big supporter of the Veterans organization and charities.
Words will never be able to express the deep sorrow and heartache that is felt from losing David and Sally.
They both will be forever in our hearts.
