Charles Chhnun Svay, born on January 14, 1961, in Chraneang Village, Seong Commune, O Chrov District, Banteay Meanchey Province, passed away surrounded by family and love. He was the son of Eng Vay and Neam Chain and grew up alongside his bonus father, Moral Svay, three brothers, and two sisters.
A man of remarkable strength and resilience, Charles survived the Khmer Rouge and rebuilt his life through determination and love. In 1981, he met his beloved wife, Natalie Say, in Thailand, and they shared 42 wonderful years of marriage.
Charles was a devoted father to three daughters and a proud grandfather to three grandchildren, who were the light of his life. He cherished every moment spent with his family, finding joy in their laughter and love.
Professionally, Charles took great pride in his work, especially in delighting customers with his fresh, delicious donuts—a reflection of his generous spirit and dedication to serving others.
Charles’s warmth and compassion touched everyone who knew him. Though he will be deeply missed, his legacy of love and strength will forever live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
