Rudy was born on March 9, 1956 in Dallas, Texas; his life shared with his mother, four sisters and one brother. At a young age, the family moved to Los Angeles, California. Rudy loved playing football and played quarterback for the varsity team of Eaglerock High School. He also enjoyed passionately playing basketball, and loved to surf and ride motorcycles, especially Harleys... that was his passion. He met his best friend, Midge, and later in life they got married and she became his wife; although Rudy never had children with Midge, he became a father to her son and daughter, and he became a grandfather to Jasmine. Rudy left behind nieces and nephews who cared for him. He loved animals and had a few cats and dogs, which he treated them as his babies. Rudy worked for the Alhambra Unified School District, where he was a great asset to the staff and was loved dearly by his peers. He had a profound relationship with some of his co-workers and they became part of his life and were there to support him. So today we are celebrating Rudy's new life, with no more suffering and pain and may he be in the Lord's hands. Rudy will never be forgotten!
