Remembering my Uncle Johnny today. I miss him so much 😢 Talullah was his kitty and it comforts me to have her and love her.

My heartfelt  sympathy goes out to John’s friends and family, I only found out today that he has passed. John was a special man! He loved my grandmother Rose Kuper, and convinced me that she was one of the great artists of the 20th century. We only met a few times, but I was tickled by his disarming charm and sparkling personality. He made me feel as if we were old friends, and I felt like I could tell him anything. What a special, dear man, May he rest in peace and may his memory be a blessing to all.

I'm so saddened to hear about John. I just found out today that  he passed away. I had not seen John and Mary for quite a number of years so we lost touch. John you were my mentor as well as a friend and like a brother to me. I have many many fond memories of you growing up ones of laughter craziness and lots of fun.   I remember one time I came over and we jumped in your old Falcon and drove LA East, West, South, and North looking for Antiques, L loved looking for them with you and Mary. We did many more fun things than just that. You will be missed but in my heart forever. I thought about you both  many many times. Now go be with your maker or whatever  you believe. I will always love you          Mary where are you?

My Daughter and I came from Arizona to John's home in Glendora In spring 2022 but he was not home.
We spent a lot of time together doing antique shows and just having fun.
Having moved I missed him.

John just recently gave me a few old photos of him and I will cherish them forever.

My heart is so sad to have lost one of the most special people in my life for over 30 years now. John wasn't just a friend, he was family to me and to my children. I have learned so much from John over the years but mostly in the past five years. We spent a lot of time together and had amazing conversations about spirituality, life, movies, history, the unknown (that he knew all about haha). I will forever miss our meals together, long conversations, hanging out on his front porch, most importantly his presence and all that radiates from him.

 John you will forever be in my heart and I thank you for all the love and light you brought into my life, my children's lives and everyone who had the honor to be close to you.

I pray that Johnny's cat, Taloula, is being cared for after John's passing. Taloula is a sweet cat and was friendly to me, approached me, and allowed me to pet her while talking to her. Someone please take her in.

John was the sweetest soul. He was a staple at all the antique flea markets. I loved the endless conversations we had. My condolences to his family. ❤️

Johnny was a girl’s best friend💓. And it turns out that so many women and men
thought of John as their best friend.
A whole community is deeply saddened by his passing.  Johnny was so smart, fun, and
devoted to his friends, customers, 
and family.  He was a compassionate man.
     Johnny was certainly a best friend to me.
He helped me get through my terrible grief when my husband  Steve died of brain cancer.  We had long phone conversations 
about our mutual love of animals
especially about our dear cats.  He had a child like love of God’s creatures; and he
spent much of his time caring for the wildlife around his home and nursing the
cats he adored.  We also talked about all
the exotic trips to distant lands we would 
take.   He gave me hope.
      But Johnny worked too hard to travel.
He was an extraordinary entrepreneur 
in his art and antique business and a
passionate collector himself.  He brought
so many wonderful and varied items
every week to market for his numerous and loyal customers and  provided  so many dealers with their inventory.  He was generous with his knowledge and expertise and when I look on the walls of my home, I see my most beautiful paintings are from
Johnny.  
      Thank you dear Johnny for taking
care of the animals and caring so much
about your customers, friends and family
with humor, incomparable generosity,
and love.  I am so grateful that you were
my friend for so many decades and I 
give thanks for your life with all my

Uncle Johnny,

You were a bright light in a sometimes dim world.  You would fill a room with your beautiful laugh and the love that you showed all of us that knew you.

Johnny G, where did you go

I had the singular honor, privilege, education and joy of knowing the truly wonderful John Abraham since the 1980s. Blessed with a brilliant mind, warm heart, a connoisseur's sensibilities, and a wicked sense of humor, John was one of my favorite human beings and I will miss him dearly.
