He attended Monte Vista Elementary, Burbank Middle School, and graduated from Franklin High School. He attended Pasadena City College, where he earned his General Education Certification along with a certificate in CAD Modeling and Animation. He also earned a degree in Industrial Technology from Cal State Los Angeles, where he was part of a Leadership Certificate Program.
Chuck was married to his best friend, Patricia, on April 7, 2001 and they were married for 16 years.
He worked as an Engineering Manager and Computer-Aided Designer (CAD) for California Waters for the past 4 months. Prior to that, he was a Principal Partner and Project Manager at Fountain Source Engineering and Design, a Mechanical Designer and CAD Production Manager for Wet Design, and a Mechanical Designer for Keystone Designs.
Chuck enjoyed working on Aero Design projects. His hobbies included being a DJ, volunteering at his kids’ school, and restoring his Volkswagen bug. One of his passions was attending USC football games with his Dad, cousins, friends, and fellow Trojan fans. He was also fond of building model cars and working on other projects with his kids. He was actively involved with his church and his children’s PTA groups.
Chuck is survived by his wife, Patti, daughter Maya (14), son Adam (12), daughter
Annie (7), father Louis Frederick, mother Gloria, brother Fred and sister-in-law Claire, sister Michelle, brother-in-law Randy, sister-in-law Idalia, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
