Gloria Parker (August 11, 1936 – December 13, 2024)
Our beloved mother, Gloria Parker, died on December 13, 2024. She was 88 years old.
Gloria was the heart of our home and family. She was married for 45 years to her soulmate, Roland Parker, who preceded her in death. They raised two children, Joe and Caron, in a happy and loving home to be independent and thoughtful adults.
Gloria was known for her career selling professional cookware at Macy's, retiring after 30 years. She grew beautiful roses, having over 30 bushes in her backyard garden . She was an avid bowler, playing on a team with her husband. For over 50 years, she was active in her parish churches.
Gloria is survived by her son and daughter, many nieces and nephews, and her sister, Urcell Schulterbrandt.
The funeral will be held on January 6th, 2025 at 10:30 AM PST at St. Monica Church, located at 5920 Geary Blvd., San Francisco, CA, 94121. Mass will be followed by internment at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery for those who wish to attend.
The family requests that those who wish to express sympathy consider making a donation to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
