Gary R. Peterson

Gary Richard Peterson, 68, passed away on January 10, 2016, at his home in San Francisco, CA after a long struggle with Lyme Disease. Gary was born on March 11, 1947 in Menominee, MI to Isabel and Eugene Peterson. He attended Michigan State University, where he received a Masters in Business Administration. Gary joined Arthur Andersen, where as a partner he dedicated over 30 years to his clients and colleagues. In 2002, he joined Protiviti and held numerous leadership roles, including being a member of the executive committee until his retirement in 2014. Gary was married to Susan K Schneider, with whom he had 2 children, Jonas and Jennifer. He later married Anne L Clark with whom he had 2 additional children, Lindsay and Erin. Gary was a dedicated father and a passionate Green Bay Packer and Michigan State fan. He loved to travel and was an accomplished photographer. Gary is survived by his four children as well as three grandchildren: Aiden, Cameron and Sophia. Funeral services will be privately held.
