William H. Heinrich April 1940 - March 5, 2017 San Diego William Heinrich, 76, of San Diego, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 5, 2017 at Scripps Mercy Hospital. Born in southern Illinois to Otto and Eunice Heinrich, he lived most of his life in San Diego. Bill enjoyed football, camping and was an avid gardener. Bill came to San Diego in the 1960s after graduating from DeVry Technical Institute in Chicago to work on the Atlas/Centaur rockets for General Dynamics Convair. Bill was predeceased by his parents and brother Carl. He is survived by his wife of 46 years Karen, sons Mark (Angela) and Kevin, grandchildren Megan and Jacob, brothers Raymond (Crystal), Richard, and Paul (Linda), aunt Georgeanna Burr, as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be at 2pm on Sunday, March 12, 2017, at El Camino Memorial, - Arrangements under the direction of El Camino Memorial - Sorrento Valley, San Diego, CA.
