Sarah was born on May 4, 1955, in Pensacola, FL, to her devoted parents, Peter and Patricia Love. She grew up in San Diego, CA, alongside her sisters Molly Love and Meg Felando. Sarah attended UC Santa Barbara, where she pursued her passion for art history.
After completing her education, Sarah embarked on a series of remarkable journeys filled with adventure and exploration. Sarah spent time in Italy, utilizing her art history degree in various museums, and sailed across different parts of the globe. Sarah also had the unique opportunity to work for Dr. Seuss! Later, she pursued her teaching credential and fulfilled her passion for education as a preschool and kindergarten teacher.
For the past 21 years, Sarah served as a dedicated and reliable employee at Costco, where she was admired for her hard work and kindness by colleagues and customers alike.
Sarah's zest for life extended beyond her professional pursuits. She was an avid artist, sailor, and adventurer who cherished every opportunity to explore the world around her. Her genuine love for travel, sailing, and spending time with loved ones enriched the lives of all who knew her.
Sarah's compassionate nature and genuine care for others were evident in every aspect of her life. She was a steadfast friend and a compassionate listener, always ready to offer support and encouragement to those in need.
Sarah was a devoted mother to her daughter, Katie Love, whose accomplishments in sailing and maritime pursuits brought her immense pride and joy. Sarah's family was her greatest treasure, and she cherished every moment spent with her daughter and her granddaughter, Olivia Love.
Sarah is survived by her beloved daughter, Katie Love, her son-in-law, Chad Freitas, her granddaughter, Olivia Love, her sisters Molly Love and Meg Felando, her brother-in-law, Robin Rogerson, her niece, Liz Felando, her nephew, Andy Love, and her nephew, Peter Love. She is also survived by a fleet of loving friends who will forever cherish her memory.
Sarah was predeceased by her parents, Peter and Patricia Love.
