Born on May 3, 1958, in El Paso, Texas, RoseAnn met the love of her life, Juan Castro, at the tender age of 14. They married in 1975 and embarked on a journey together that spanned nearly five decades. Their union was blessed with three children, nine grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
In 1986, RoseAnn and Juan made California their home, where RoseAnn dedicated herself to creating a warm and loving environment for her family. A passionate homemaker, she found joy in cooking and spoiling not only her own children but also her grandchildren. Her home was always open, a gathering place cherished by neighbors and friends alike.
RoseAnn was deeply involved in her children's lives, known for her unwavering presence and support. She never missed an opportunity to cheer on her son Johnny at his little league games, and she shared special moments dancing with her daughter Stephanie and shopping with her daughter Lorraine.
Beyond her roles as wife and mother, RoseAnn cultivated hobbies that brought her immense happiness. She enjoyed socializing with friends over a Bud Light, exploring casinos and traveling with Juan, and most of all, camping—their favorite pastime together.
Her vibrant spirit extended to her sense of style; she took great pride in her festive home decor and meticulously coordinated outfits. A devoted fan of the San Diego Padres and the Kansas City Chiefs, she brought enthusiasm to every game day.
RoseAnn's generosity knew no bounds; she found true fulfillment in giving to others and nurturing lifelong relationships. Her legacy lives on in the countless lives she touched with her kindness and warmth.
RoseAnn is survived by her loving husband Juan, their children, grandchildren, great-grandchild, her older siblings: Sal and Hilda, and her younger siblings: Ricky and Rudy. She is also survived by beloved dogs, Fudgie the Chihuahua and Chuy the Yorkie. She was preceded in death by her parents but leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter that will be cherished by all who knew her.
A celebration of RoseAnn's life will be held to honor her memory and the profound impact she had on her family and community. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her unwavering love and boundless generosity.
