Totoy, you’re such a great part of my life growing up. I know we grew apart once we got older, but the love I have for you will never go away. I remember us all growing up together playing sports, wrestling, and singing karaoke together lol best part of my childhood was you and your sisters coming over to visit! I know we got on each others nerves, but that’s what made us so close. The love I have for all of you will never go away. I know you will be up there looking after your sister and just know that I’ll do my best to always be there for them. Rest easy, brother... we love you. 

When I was kid, I watched our dad make him scrambled eggs. Totoy LOVED them and I wanted to learn to make it for him. So I did. Feeding him was one of favorite things to do because he was always genuinely grateful to be eating. He would be ECSTATIC whenever he was at our mother's house... For no one can rival her cooking. Our mother made sure he ate well until the day he died. 
My brother also had a loyalty for his sisters that was unmatched by anyone I've ever seen. The first time we got drunk together, he angrily declared that if anyone hurt us, he would kill them. Even when he was mad at one of us, he kept a level of respect aimed at us at all times. He never disrespected us, to our faces or behind our backs. He was my one and only blood brother and absolutely irreplaceable. I wish you could see your nieces and nephews grow up... My Jonathan looks so much like you. 

Totoy's love ran so deeply that when he fell in love, he fell hard. Unfortunately, this time it was his demise. 
My heart may be in pieces over your passing, but I am thankful that yours is no longer broken.  We love you, little brother ♥️

Rommel Almario Tanedo was delivered into this world in San Diego, CA on October 28, 1993. Being the only son of Jacqueline he was nicknamed, “Totoy”, by his Grandfather, "Tatay”. His family later moved to Fallon, NV. Totoy was an endearingly simple man with simple needs. Food was his passion. Music his love. Family his ambition and loyalty his principle. Friendship, kindness and compassion came naturally to him. Totoy was a promising guardian angel of devotion. He devoted his strength to becoming a proud soldier in the US Army to serve his country. He devoted his life to making his family proud of the man he became. He devoted his integrity to uphold his promises to his mother as a loving son. He devoted his time as a funny uncle to influence his nieces and nephews with his many passions for food, anime, drawing and music. He devoted his younger years of growing up with his four quirky sisters to staying humble while overcoming his trials in life. He devoted his love to reach out to the extended family(Kua Pablo, Melissa, Jaime, Paloma, Jorge, grandma Maria, grandpa Esteban, Pablito, Samantha, Nancy, Normita, Ama and more), friends, brothers in arms, even strangers along the way to plant seeds of good will towards others. He even devoted his love and gave his life for his vows of matrimony to honor and set free the one he held dear to his heart. May she find comfort in the arms of the deserving man she chose. “‘Til death do you part” came on Monday, June 25, 2018. Such a selfless heart full of pure love will be dearly missed from this world. Totoy’s aloof smile with laughing eyes and a boyish charm will be remembered forever by those of us who truly knew him. God love you Totoy for you deserve no less than the love you have given us all. May we return that love to you now so it may free you from all pain.
