Patricia Wheldon

Patricia Ann Wheldon was born March 28th 1939 in Derby, England. She left this world to be with Jesus Christ Our Lord on December 8th 2018, following a short illness. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence William Stephenson and Doris Stephenson, Her elder brother Peter Stephenson and her husband of 39 years Edward (Ted) Wheldon.

Pat lived most of her life in England where she raised her two children Ann Wheldon Killeen of San Diego and Andrew Wheldon of Reading, England. She travelled extensively around Europe with her husband Ted. They retired to live in Cyprus until Ted's death in 2000, after which she relocated to settle in San Diego to be closer to family.

Pat lived in San Diego for more than 16 years, she was an active member of Saint Brigid's Church in Pacific Beach, The Daughters of the British Empire and retired chair of the Northshore Womens' group. She made many close friends.

Pat was loved and will be greatly missed by all those who knew her. She will be especially remembered for her sense of humor and her ability to laugh at herself. She will be dearly missed by her three Grandchildren Catherine Killeen, Charlotte Killeen and Edward Wheldon who will treasure many happy memories of their Nana.

A Funeral Mass will be held on December 19th 2018 at 11am at Saint Brigid's Catholic Church, Cass St. in Pacific beach. Burial will be at Mission San Luis Rey in Oceanside. Flowers may be sent to Pacific Beach Chapel or to the Church.
