Mrs Patricia Pat Lucille Lowell Benefeito

Pat was born on November 13, 1948, to Russell and Susie Lowell in Baltimore, MD. She graduated from Andover High School in 1966.

In 1967, Pat met Manuel Benefeito (Benny) in Suisun City, CA while visiting her brother Richard who was serving at Travis Air Force Base. Pat and Benny were married 3 weeks later in Reno, NV. Pat and Benny went on to have 2 children, Anthony (Tony) in 1969 and Tracy Marie in 1975.

Pat was a devoted mother and was able to stay home with her children until Tracy started kindergarten in 1980. She then began working in that kindergarten class for Poway Unified school district and continued to do so for the next 32 years working in an IT Technician role.

In 2012, Pat retired and continued to stay active spending her time doing crafts, going on cruises, getting lunch and catching movies with friends, and chasing her grandkids all over southern California to various baseball and softball fields.

Pat is survived by her husband Benny, her son and daughter, Tony (wife Lydia) and Tracy (husband Dana), two grandchildren Nathan and Megan, two brothers Eugene (wife Sue) and Richard (wife Carole), and sister-in-law Pat.

Visitation will be held at El Cajon Memorial Services, 684 S. Mollison Ave, El Cajon, CA, 92020 on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, from 4 – 8 pm. The service will be held at Miramar National Cemetery, 5795 Noble Dr, San Diego, CA, 92122 on Thursday, December 28, 2023, at 9:15. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society, an organization that may one day help prevent others from suffering what Pat went through.
