Norman E. Henry, USMC (Ret.), passed away peacefully on July 22, 2022. One of the most stubborn and most loyal humans ever made, he is finally reunited with the only one to ever keep him in line, Nancy, his bride of 64 years. Born in San Diego, he was a true prunepicker and loved to tell that story, along with jokes he thought were funny, to anyone and everyone, whether or not they wanted to hear them. He honored his Scottish mum by unfailingly having a Scotch or two every evening. In civilian life, Norm was a business consultant and teacher. He continued his desire to serve by volunteering with America's Finest, the San Diego Police Department. He spent his last years at La Vida Del Mar in Solana Beach where he was treated like a king, and his last days at Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla, where he was treated with the most excellent of care. Norm is survived by his daughter Caryn (Cary) Kerns and husband Kevin; grandaughter Hillary, whom he deemed perfect in every way; and fur grandkids Cozy and Ollie. Here's to you, Pop Pop. Semper Fi. Until we meet again.
