My heart goes out to all of the family for the loss of Mark. It has been a long time since I've seen Mark. Our family became connected with Mark, Martha, Peter and Juliet through Mark's wife Martha who started a baby group just after their Juliet and our Briana (Tovey) were born in 1987 (within weeks of each other.) It was the most amazing group and I had the pleasure of getting to know Mark through Martha. We had regular meetings and I'm so thankful for knowing their family and for their being experienced parents when our kids were babies. Then they had Kurt within weeks of me having Matthew.  Mark was busy working when the kids were little as a pharmacist. I remember him being a surfer and avid water lover. My deepest condolences to Martha, Peter, Juliet, Kurt and Sam and all of Mark's family. May your dearest memories of your husband, father, brother, live on in the lovely memories you made together. Mark was such a loving and compassionate man.  We loved having him be a part of our bible study /fellowship. When he shared his responses during our study, we could hear his love for Jesus and see his trust in our Savior. We will dearly miss Mark. But we praise God that he is home with Jesus and healed!!!

Mark was a brilliant and efficient Pharmacist at Rady Children's Hospital San Diego.  We appreciated him greatly. He was a Hematology Oncology Pharmacist, the Investigational Pharmacist and chaired the Investigational Review Board for studies at Rady Children's Hospital.  He was always a pleasure to talk to and collaborate with.  He loved  his family , his work and surfing.  Rest in Peace, Mark....
