Manuel Ernest Montez

Manuel was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Marie Montez; and his daughter Monica Montez.

Manuel is survived by his sister Mary Louise Ringwald; his brother Steven Montes; his daughter Maria Byrne; his daughter Catherine Funk (Daniel Funk); his granddaughter Nicole Dossey (Michael Dossey); his granddaughter Gina Byrne Miller; his granddaughter Jennifer Ann Cook (Henry Raymundo Guerrero); his granddaughter Tabitha Byrne Pham (Viet); his granddaughter Crystal Marie Rhodes (Andrew Rhodes); and his great grandchildren Alex Rhodes, Aidan Rhodes, Samantha Dossey, Elizabeth Dossey, Natalie Dossey, and Allison Dossey; and many nieces and nephews.

A rosary service will occur Monday, September 18, 2023 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at Holy Cross Cemetery Chapel, 4470 Hilltop Drive, San Diego, CA 92102. A funeral service for Manuel will be held Monday, September 18, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Holy Cross Cemetery, 4470 Hilltop Drive, San Diego, CA 92102. A graveside service will occur Monday, September 18, 2023 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM, 4470 Hilltop Drive, San Diego, CA 92102.
