Mom Fletcher was a truly loving lady who treated all of us kids as her own. She was strict and could be tough but she had a softer side that was so compassionate and caring. She taught me to sew, make patterns from my favorite shorts, and many tricks in the kitchen. She was such a doting mom always making special dinners for birthdays. Upside down peach cake and lasagna were very special treats. So many fond memories! My sincere thoughts and condolences for the Fletcher family. There’s no loss like that of your mom.

I first remember Aunt Kathy visiting in Pittsburgh when Grandma and Grandpa were taking care of us in 1964 or 65. She was smiling and full of life and always told us what to do. Next I remember our Grandparents 50th wedding anniversary party and it snowed in MD. Aunt Kathy had on  a black coctail dress and she could dance the jitter bug and tried to teach us. When I visited her in the 1970's, she took me all over the city and the port, the beach and the missions BUT would not let me go to Tijuana. Her great gift to our whole family was the family geneology which she brought to Grandma's 90th birthday party. It strecthed around the room and she did not mind when some of us told her we wanted to EDIT it! My most favorite picture of her is her wedding picture with Uncle Don walking down the asile after their vows. May she rest with her beloved Lord and family. Until we meet again..... 

I'll always remember how Kathy was so full of enthusiasm. She ruled with an iron fist. She was always interested in what was going on in our lives too. Very genuine. Of course I will remember the family car pool to St. Columba too. Only if it was raining if I remember correctly. She will be missed.

I was sorry to hear about Aunt Kat's passing.  I did not see her often as I live on the wrong side of the country.  The last time I saw her was at my daughter Rachael's wedding in Los Vegas.  I do remember  the one time I was in San Diego.  I was on leave before I went south to Viet Nam.  I remember the dog Domino and that she was excited about this new television show called Sesame Street.  She made me watch it.  She always seemed to be excited about something.  I hope she finds peace.

I have so many great memories of your Mom. The earliest memory was when I was a kid. Your Mom was visiting and she told us that her phone cord could stretch all throughout her house so she could talk and do housework or whatever else she needed to do. I thought that was the coolest thing. 
Over the years, I was able to visit you all in San Diego. All of you were so great....taking me to see all the sights...especially my Lakers at the Forum! That was a lifelong dream. We also got the chance to visit with Uncle Matt and many of his family. 
We had so much fun chatting and sharing stories. Your parents stayed at our house  some times and always made sure they would see as many of the relatives as possible. 
Your Mom definitely had her beliefs and convictions! We didn’t always agree but we had many deep “discussions”. She was so much fun and always happy to see us...and pray for us! 
Her genealogy work is a family keepsake. My only regret is my daughter always wanted to go to San Diego to visit Aunt Kat and her grand daughter Kate. Maybe one day we will get there to see all of you again. 
We send our love and hugs to all of you.. some of you may not remember me but I remember all of you. I hope we can still see each other some day. Thanks for sharing her. I love her and will miss her.
