John Robert Owen Sr.

Preceded in death by parents, first wife the former Ruth Kimmel, and sister Virginia Ahlquist.

Survived by wife of 16 years the former Betty (McClintock) Pile; children: John Jr. and wife Betsy, San Jose, Calif.; Linda married to John Dusharme, San Diego, Calif.; and Debra married to Richard Stover, Orland, Calif.; 4 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren;

step children: Kerrie married to James Broderick, Berlin; and Rodney R. Pile, Central City; 6 step grandchildren; and 8 step great grandchildren.

He was a World War II Navy Veteran and retired from Pacific Telephone Co. with 35 years of service.

Family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until service at 12 noon on Friday at Friedens Lutheran Church. Rev. Edward DeVore and Chaplain Andrew Broucher officiating. Entombment El Camino Memorial-Sorrento Valley, Calif., on Feb. 13th.
