DONATIONS

Jack joined the Scripps Ranch Civic Association as a District Representative in 2002, representing District 4, known as Jerabek Park. Shortly thereafter he became the Logistics and Planning Chair for the SRCA, paying special attention to the setup needs of the SRCA meetings. After the Cedar Fire he volunteered for training by the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department and became a member of CERT - the Scripps Ranch Community Emergency Response Team. CERT volunteers are qualified to help our residents in the event of a disaster. As part of that team, Jack donated a lot of time in the planning for, and securing of, several caches of equipment in his community. In 2005 Jack also received training from the San Diego Police Department and joined the Scripps-Mesa Retired Senior Volunteer Patrol (RSVP), - another volunteer organization whose significant service to the community is vital. In April 2018, Jack was awarded the Scripps Ranch Civic Association District Representative of the Year. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations in Jack’s name are sent to the Scripps Ranch Civic Association. Please make checks payable to SRCA and mail to 10755-F Scripps Poway Parkway PMB 613, San Diego, CA 92131.
