Requiem Mass for George C. Garrison will be held at All Saints' Episcopal Church at 1:00 PM Saturday, October 27, 2012. George had been active in church work at both the Parish and Diocesan levels. H was chief Acolyte and Verger for over 30 years at All Saints Parish in Hillcrest. His family roots in California dates back to 1853 with the arrival of his great-grand parents in San Francisco from Illinois. Mr. Garrison was born in Los Angeles County and earned his teaching Credentials from San Diego State College and his Masters from USIU. He retired from the San Diego City school system in 1983.
Mr. Garrison was 88 at the time of his death having resided in San Diego since 1950. He is survived by his sister Jeanne and brother Richard both of Victorville, CA; 8 nieces and nephews, 10 great nieces and nephews and 2 great great nieces and nephews.
