A liturgy for Frank will be held Thursday, September 17, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Holy Angels Byzantine Catholic Church, 2235 Galahad Rd., San Diego, CA 92123. Prior to interment, a committal service will occur Thursday, September 17, 2020 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at Miramar National Cemetery, 5795 Nobel Dr., San Diego, CA 92122.

Frank grew up on 'Federal Hill' in Providence, Rhode Island where he married Marguerite Faraone. Frank and Marguerite are survived by four of their five children: Ricardo, Michael, Frank, and Lizabeth. Christine passed away in 2012. His grandchildren are Adam, Reed, Samantha, and Sabrina. Stephanie Capasso and Henry Capasso are his niece and nephew.
After serving our nation for 22 years, Frank retired as a Major with the United States Marine Corps. As a 19-year-old Frank fought in the Korean War where he received the Purple Heart for frozen feet in the Chosin Reservoir battle with the First Marine Division. After recovering from his wounds, he attended college and Officers Training School, and was commissioned as a second lieutenant. Frank also fought in the Vietnam War.
Following his career with the Marine Corps, Frank acquired his MBA business degree, and had a very successful business career; most years spent with then Zellerbach Paper Company.
Frank's friend Rose said "Frank was a wonderful, smart, funny, and generous human being." He loved his Family, Friends, Country, and God with all his heart.
