Evonne Grays also known as "Kay", age 73, of San Diego, CA passed away November 6th, 2022. She is survived by nine children, three siblings, extended family and loved by all.
Evonne grew up in Detroit, MI and moved to San Diego, CA in her adolescence. She was a lover of art, roller skating, dancing, spending quality time with family worshipping the Lord. Evonne's spiritual faith helped her overcome life's challenges and allowed her to still find beauty and hope in the world and those around her. She believed in forgiveness, kindness and loving people unconditionally. Her bright outlook on life was reflected in her beautiful smile, her warm hugs and her overall illuminating presence.
Evonne will live on through all who knew her as she taught us love without limits and compassion. Our family is grateful to know that she is at peace.
