Bradley Scott Brahms

Bradley S Brahms, 57, of Solana Beach CA, transitioned peacefully at home early on September 24, 2017 after a long struggle with cancer. Brad was born March 30, 1960 in Los Angeles, CA to Harold (deceased) and Virginia (Souerwine) Brahms. He was the youngest of four boys. Brad studied Computer Sciences at USC and left before graduating to pursue a career as a Software Architect which he excelled at for 30 years. Brad and his wife Helen (Ekins) met on the internet in 1996 and were married in Beverly Hills, CA on December 28, 1998. In 2011 Brad completed his Bachelor's Degree. Brad very much loved his family and in 2010 after 22 years in VA he moved home to CA to be closer to family. Brad was much loved by his wife Helen; sons and daughters-in-law Brandon & Nadia, Christopher & Ashwini, and Joshua; grandson Damek; parents Harold (deceased) & Virginia; brothers and sisters-in-law Bob (deceased) & Christina, Brian & Kristin, and Bill & Lisa (deceased); and his nieces and nephews. The funeral service for Brad will be held at 1pm on Monday October 2, 2017 at El Camino Memorial Sorrento Valley Chapel, 5600 Carroll Canyon Road, San Diego, CA 92121. After the service, we will move graveside where Brad will be laid to rest. Dress Code for the service will be smart casual. Brad disliked suits and ties and preferred the comfort of colorful polo shirts and button-down shirts with Khakis. In his honor, we request no suits and ties at the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fight Colorectal Cancer (www.fightcolorectalcancer.org) Brad you are forever in our hearts.
