The Great Legacy of Anne
Trying to capture the essence of  this amazing woman into words is beyond the English language. I will attempt to covey a portion of her vitality to love, teach, laugh and live to bring joy to everyone in her path. A truly gifted woman who didn’t face a challenge, she embraced  and embodied her grace through it.  I was blessed to be under Anne’s wing throughout my life. She gave her wise “keep climbing “ outlook (such a wonderful gift) to all she met. All of Anne’s children have been an asset to this world by being raised by her! When I was still a teen, Anne was my boss at MaryEllens figure salon. We had many great times together as I recall when she and I were in our work uniforms (black leotard/tights with pink vests) and we had to break into my sister’s house to retrieve my forgotten purse! True Cat Burglars! She would do whatever was needed  to accomplish the challenges life brings, but what’s more, she managed to show the goodness that comes on the other side of being in a hard place. She taught me a bitter seed planted has endless growth, What a great gardener is Anne! Her endless capacity of compassion spread to those she knew, but especially to those in need.  With  my daughter’s premature birth of 1lb 6oz , Anne was right there to encourage me and to Keep me climbing through the 4 1/2 months to bring Anna Kate home, Anne was my rock.  Anna Kate had lots of Anne encouragement through out her upbringing, and has a wonderful memory of getting to drive Anne out to lunch for some one on one Anne to Anna time!  Anne is Timeless and no amount of time can diminish the impact she has on everyone forevermore! Love you Anne!

Anne was always so good to my sisters and I. She gave my sister Kelly Ann her first job at Mary Ann’s Figure Salon back in the 70’s. She continued to be a mentor and wonderful friend to Kelly for most of her life. Anne always welcomed us into her home and was interested in any goings on in our lives, including when I met my husband Terry towards the later years of her life. You could not help but be in a good mood in her presence; she was such a fun lady with a huge heart. Thank you Anne for touching our lives in such a positive way.

Anne always looked great and lived in the present.  Her default mood was always happy.  She was interested in all things relating to her family and never held back.  Those traits must be key to longevity.  They are certainly key to living the good life and having the greatest impact possible on the ones you love.  Hers was a life well lived.  She will be missed.
I couldn’t find a photo of Anne but have attached a copy of Anne’s temporary tomb stone, which will need to be replaced at some point.  I love the idea of Anne and Kerry being next to one another.  BTW, Joey found the spot immediately on his first ever visit.  He ran there and sat down on it without any guidance from me. 

Always a good time together, even when life cropped up some obstacles.   Am sorry we were not able to visit each other in the latter years.   Rest In Peace, my good friend.  (Am including a picture from a recent 50s party where I live.)
