Anna M. Byrum was born in Pennsylvania in 1916. She retired from the U S Postal Service and was a long time resident of Solana Beach, CA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Peter Byrum. She is survived by her children; Joan Byrum, Tuscon, AZ, Don Byrum, Chula Vista, CA, Frank Byrum, Lakeside, CA, Patti Gwinn, Scripps Ranch, CA; Also survived by her niece, Shirley Strickland of Danielsville, GA and sister in law, Emma Weaver of California, FL; Five Grandchildren, Seven Great-Grandchildren; Four Great-Great Grandchildren. Services will be held at El Camino Memorial 5600 Carroll Canyon Road at 1:30 p.m. in the Chapel. Interment immediately following In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Helen Woodward Animal Center and/or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
