This doesn't seem real.

My name is Tom Folden. I knew Louie when I lived at Imperial Place Apartments in Norwalk. I was there from 2003 to around 2012. He moved out before I did. We used to play guitars together. Those were great times. I was shocked and so sorry to hear of his passing. He was such a good person with a kind heart. My deepest sympathies and condolences go out to his family. He will surely be missed.

Dad, this is so hard…. I’m heartbroken that we had to say goodbye to you. To not hear from you daily is strange. To not hear your voice or your laugh…you would always crack a joke and make fun of me for something and then chuckle about it. I will miss that. I will never forget all of your advice, your lectures or dinner tips...that was your favorite to chat about. There is so so much more…. Thank you for being the best pop to the girls. You always had little toys or candies and snacks for them. Spoil them when they visited. I know they will never forget that. We will all never forget the specials things you did for us. My heart will hurt for you everyday but …you’ve left me with so much that I still feel that you are with me. …and I hope that feeling never goes away. I love you dad.

I miss you more than you could ever know. I will cherish every memory I have with you, and we both know I have a lot of them. We had a special bond and I am forever grateful for the pop you were to me.  Thank you for everything you have ever done for me and all the advice you have given me. You always listened to whatever story I had and you always made me feel special and loved. Thank you for always making me food even when I said I wasn’t hungry. I think you knew I would still eat it anyways.  You were a huge part of my entire life and I now don’t know how it will be without you. I promise Ivy will always know who her great pop is and will grow up hearing about you everyday.I love you forever poppums.

Everyday I wait for your call to ask what’s for dinner and what’s Max doing.  I look at my Granddaughter and am sad she won’t know you but I will make sure she knows about you and that you played the guitar and loved to cook and was always helping others.
