A true neighborly friend who has shared all of themself to those he cared for; has gone away like a beautiful flower perishes in days to come. To a dear friend and caregiver , Butch will be remembered as a hero  because he was our hero when we where in need. I recall Butch would come over my mother’s home to watch over and tending her needs cleaning the kitchen and being with her. That was so nice and his voice was always calm and understanding. I lost my son, Tony and Sandy lost their brother,
and Tony Boy and Alex lost their Unkie Boo.
Saying that we’re overwhelmed is an understatement.
The passing of Butch,as he was affectionately known,
has brought us such an insurmountable sadness that
cannot be fully expressed.The associated physical
pain is unreal.
Please say a prayer for us.
Being Butch’s mom has been a joy and privilege.
God blessed Butch with a generous and loving
heart. A freewheeling spirit, a giver with a big
heart, a zest for life, yet, not a pushover, he was
impatient with those he saw treating others unfairly.
He was passionate about Mexican food, loved
sports, especially his beloved Lakers, his favorite the
fabulous late and wonderfully gifted Kobe Bean Bryant.
. Even though the great Bill Russell wasn’t a Laker,
he loved him anyway.
As a health care provider, he provided care for grandma
Maria, his uncle Casey, Barb and Jack and a multitude
of others, with patience and dignity which he felt they
were entitled to. It appears the feeling was mutual in
the most natural way,
As a family we’re still struggling with our loss,
I imagine at some point, life will seem real again.
Only time will tell.
Charles was preceded by his dad, Charles A Austin
His maternal grandparents Albert Ybarra and
Maria Perales paternal grandparents Floyd
and Gertrude Austin, uncle Casey Ybarra
Aunts Rachel Y Acosta and Hope Placencia.
Surviving Charles are his mother Celia,
brother Anthony, sister-in-law Sandy,
niece Alexandria and nephew Tony.
