Alfred Ortiz passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on May 10, 2023 at the age of 76. He is reunited with his parents Jose Ortiz and Alice Chavez-Ortiz. He is lovingly remembered by his wife Judith Stemen-Ortiz; his daughters Elisa Ortiz and Lorraine Plis; son-in-law Edmond Plis; grandsons Kyle Faris, Korey Thompson, Joshua Leverenz, Zachary and Derek Plis; great grandson Skyler Thompson; Sisters Esther Escalante and Carmen Sanchez; brother and sister-in-law Joe and Julie Ortiz, as well as, many loving family and friends.
Alfred retired as a fiscal clerk for the San Bernardino County Sheriffs Department, after retirement he enjoyed time with Judy, lunches with his childhood friends, classic car shows and taking his grandsons to wrestling matches.
