Abelardo had many passions that included boxing, he was an experienced printer and enjoyed reading the bible. He spent his time outdoors walking and never lost his passion for boxing, as he was a professional boxer in his youth.
He is will be remembered as the king of Veranda. He made sure to show his dancing moves with all of their staff. Ultimately, his greatest passion was to share his love with his family, his wife and grandchildren.
Abelardo is survived by his children Abelardo Pena (Sandra); Carmina Mojdehi (Reza); Sonia Pinon (Rolando); and Jesus Pena; his grandchildren Andrea Pena, Chloe Pena, Marlen Pena, Bronte Mojdehi (Jose Enriquez), Armanda Hartley, Aniza Perez (Carlos), Alonzo Pinon, his great-grandchildren Ollie Hartley and Amir Perez.
Abelardo was preceded in death by his wife Elisa Pena; his son in law Reza Mohdeji; his brother Roberto Pena and his brother Juan Pena.
