Yamel Zapata

She is preceded in death by her parents, Benito and Rosa Zuniga and son, Noel Angel Zapata.

She is survived by her children, John Zapata III and Lisa Zapata-Salas (Rene Salas); siblings, Carlos Zuniga, Maritza Castro, Gladys Perez, Orlando Zuniga and Rebecca Zuniga; grandchildren, Angela, Christopher, Savannah, Dominique, Rene, Alyssa, Alexis, Kallie, Kaitlyn, Lisa, Noel Jr., Neveah, Joel and Josie and 15 great grandchildren.

Yamel enjoyed arts and crafts, sewing and spending time with her grandchildren and family.

A visitation for Yamel will be held Wednesday, March 15, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd, 78211 with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. A graveside service will occur Thursday, March 16, 2023 at 11:00 AM at First Memorial Park Cemetery, 20567 TX 16, Von Ormy, Texas 78073.
