William Tate Ward, 88, passed away on Saturday, March 8, 2014. He was born in Bells, Tenn. on August 20, 1925 to Benjamin Franklin and Bernice Evans Ward. He was a long-time member and usher at Concordia Lutheran Church. He served his country in the United States Navy during World War II. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Ward. He is survived by his daughters, Stacey Ward and husband John McClusky, Suzy Nieto and husband Carlos. The visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Hwy. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. at Concordia Lutheran Church, 16801 Huebner Rd at Loop 1604, followed by a private entombment at Sunset Memorial Park.
