William (Bill) was born in San Antonio, TX to Emmett R. Cordova and Lillie Sablatura Cordova on November 19, 1941. He attended Central Catholic High School, graduating in 1960. He then attended San Antonio College for two years.
He traveled extensively with his parents prior to his marriage. He was proud that he visited many of our continguous states, as well as Canada and Mexico. In his younger days, he enjoyed many years of hunting and fishing with his dad (Emmett) and his son (Aaron).
He was proud of being fluent in the Spanish language, having studied it in school for four years. He could read, write and converse with ease.
Bill worked for the United States Postal Service for forty years, ending with his retirement. He was unable to fully enjoy his retirement due to his many medical problems.
Bill is survived by his wife of 35 years Lizbeth Koett Cordova, his son Aaron Patrick Cordova, daughter and son-in-law Natalie Ann Cordova Evans and husband Harrison, and his sister and brother-in-law Helen Maxine Cordova Mezzetti and husband James Mezzetti, Jr, and nieces Sandra Mezzetti and Barbara Mezzetti.
Visitation, rosary and mass will be all at the Holy Cross Mausoleum Chapel, 17501 Nacogdoches
Road , 78266 beginning at 9:30am visitation, 10:30am rosary and 11am mass on Monday, December 5, 2016 with interment to follow at the Holy Cross Cemetery.
