Virginia K. McKay much loved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister entered into eternal rest on June 05, 2011 at the age of 88. She was born on October 15, 1922 in Dublin, TX to Joseph T. and Lou Ola Kennedy. Virginia was preceded in death by her sis ter, Rubye Davidson; and brother, Joseph C. Kennedy. She is survived by her loving husband of 72 years, Volney Edward McKay; children, David McKay (Patty), Pamela Jones (Robert), Becky McFadden (Bruce) and Donald McKay (Kelly); grandchildren, Andrea McKay Harder, Tommy Bradley, Bradley Houseton, Amy Jones, Tim Jones, Blake and Brady McFadden, Michael McKay and Lauren McKay Flathouse; great-grandchildren, Sara Harder, Ella and Colton Flathouse, and Wesley Williams; sister, Dorothy Krause; and numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Oxford United Methodist Church, 9655 Huebner Road; or Vitas Hospice, 5430 Fredericksburg Rd. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 18, 2011 at Oxford United Methodist Church.
