Born on February 21, 1938 in San Angelo, Truman was strongly influenced by his grandparents "Pop & Dan" Edmiston and told colorful stories about being raised on their 7HE Ranch in Eldorado. He was a proud 33rd degree Master Mason, as well as a Vietnam War Veteran who served unselfishly in the U.S. Air Force and retired with 20+ years of dedicated service.
Preceded in death by his parents Murray "MO" Overton and Virginia "Ninny" Rose, he is survived by his wife, Jo'Anne Joyce Kimmey, his sister Su-An Winkler, daughters Yvette Lynn Barton, Lisa Renee Palmgren, Laura Michelle Miller, his sons Shane Kristofer and Shaun Patrick Kimmey, 12 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and numerous extended family and friends.
Viewing/visitation from 4-8pm Thursday, Nov 8th, with Military and Masonic memorial services on Friday, Nov 9th at 7pm. Truman will later be buried at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. All services will be at Sunset Memorial Park on Austin Highway.
