First of all, RIP Brotha. The first time I met Tommy Montez was when our friend Indiana Hawes introduced us on Halloween 2014.  As soon as I met him, I knew he was special! A year later, we joined forces on the Bulverde White team playing baseball. At this time I didn't know anything about his baseball game until coach lined us up to throw the ball and it was lasers all day! I'm talking 50 yards away throwing accurate lasers for 10min straight! The guy was a natural athlete all around! I have alot of great memories with Tommy, and I can remember everytime I spent the night and I mean EVERYTIME, we would wake up bright and early to the smell of his mother's fantastic breakfast ( RIP to his mother as well.) Tommy was the most adventurous human I have ever met. I remember one time we were so bored at his house that we decided to go in his garage, grab an axe and work on our baseball swing using nearby trees! It took 2 hours to chop this beast of a tree down but two of the most energetic people were swinging and not getting bored. We KNEW it was coming down and when it did, it was glorious! One more quick memory, I dont remember the day but it had flooded really bad. Tommy and I were at Indiana's apt. and its pouring cats and dogs out...So, the three of us decided to make paper boats so we can go race them in the knee deep flood! We were just so ambitious and determined on whose boat was gonna win down those rapids 😂! I don't remember whose boat won but I do remember we were chasing our boats and Tommy trips over a rock and falls in water, he was soaked! Indiana and I look at each other and both dive in with him because he was our brother and if he was soaked we were gonna be soaked too! I love u Tommy and we'll see u again ❤ 

I remember the first time we met, I was happy to have another guy friend and you were just happy to be on an adventure.  I didnt think you were gonna be one to change my perspective on life.  But you did, and Im grateful for that. You lived everyday with a smile, even when you had water in your eyes you found a way to look on the bright side. I dont know why things work the way they do or why the good ones always go first,  but you were a good one Tommy and I'm glad that you can watch over us as time goes on. I love you and will always miss you Tommy. I'm happy I was blessed enough to hear your song before you left us, it will forever be a song I sing along too. Also I will forever keep sharing our wedding video of you dancing while everyone is singing "Tomorrow ." That video will be cherished for the rest of my life. It's a perfect representation of how our family is together. I'm looking forward to meeting you again one day. Keep the sunsets coming my doode. 

Man I can even remember all the memories! From skating to bouldering to playing guitar. You always pushed me to do my best and for that I thank you! I find myself having a lot of dreams about you and they all feel so real! I hope your keeping that spot warm for me!

When Tommy first came to Zion him and hung out at the lake. We threw the a football around we laughed we immediately became friend. "This kid is wild, so much energy!" Is what I thought.

The first time we got angry with each other we really mixed it up, could've both gone a few more rounds too. "God this dude is so stubborn!"

The first time I saw him cry, I pulled him up by his armpits and stood him onto his feet. "This guy emotional, he has so much passion."

The first time he saw me cry he hugged me so hard I couldn't cry (I couldnt even breathe.) And he told me to keep my head up and reminded me who i am. "This man is wiser than I've realized."

The last time I saw Tommy he was thriving. He was stoked to be in Colorado and shred all winter he was committed to becoming the best he could at it. We hugged near his car and he was been goofy as always. 
"My friend is really coming into his own."

Tommy, such a good friend and soul to any and everyone he crossed paths with. Im blessed to have had a deep connection with him, I know hes still with all of us rooting for us. Hes the only man I've ever met with enough life to keep on living without living.

Hey bud, you we’re my first friend in the area and I thank you for that. You introduced me to, well basically everyone. I will never forget the small times we had. You made me see things in life I wasn’t always used to seeing. You are different and that is what makes you special. The friendships I have now because of you are amazing. I miss you Tommy wish I could see you bomb in the bowls again. Keep on shredding brotha! 

My Condolences for the loss of this Beautiful young Man. While on a visit to Breckinridge I read the article about his passing and was touched by this loss. May he Rest In Peace. 

I will never forget your contagious laugh, tight hugs, and back rubs. The late night talks on the way home from work. You are the purest, truest, happiest, soul I have ever had the pleasure to call a friend. Thank you for all the memories, lunch dates, gypsy emporium shopping sprees, late art, laughs, and love. I will forever miss you. Please watch over me and the kids. Until we see eachother again.  

I remember the day I met Tommy full of life I worked with him at the pub here in utah thank you tommy for making me feel welcome there you realy had a kind heart
