Tomas is preceded in death by his wife, Maria V. Mendoza, parents, Cresencio Antonio Mendoza, Margarita Flores Mendoza, sons, Victor and Ernest Mendoza, sisters, Julia Nanez, and Manuela Mendoza..

He is survived by his children; John (Eva) Mendoza, David (Sonia) Mendoza, Hector (Connie) Mendoza, Henry (Guadalupe Ruiz) Mendoza, brother, Cresencio Mendoza, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Monday, May 22, 2023 at 5:00PM till 9:00PM with a Rosary being recited at 7:00PM at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd. San Antonio TX 78211. A mass will be celebrated Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at 10:00AM at St. James Apostle Catholic Church, 907 W. Theo Ave., with interment to follow in San Fernando III Cemetery.
