Susie Gomez Sanchez

Jesusa (Susie) Sanchez entered the House of the Lord on December 04, 2017. Mom was one of sixteen children born to Guadalupe and Herculano Gomez on February 05, 1930. Wife to Alfredo Sanchez for 57 years, mother of 11 children and lived amongst 5 generations in her 87 years.

Susie is survived by her children Mary Huerta, Margaret Solis, Estella Ruthowski, Rosemary, Anna Marie, Alfred, Mario, Lucy, Johnny, Paul and George; brothers, Pedro Gomez and Jose Berlanga and sisters, Victoria Salinas and Candelaria Ramirez. Her 5 generational-family includes 21 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.

The visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home on Cupples Road from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with the Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. The procession will depart Trevino Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at approximately 11:45 a.m. for Mass at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church at 12:15 p.m. Interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
