Stuart was a lifelong native of San Antonio whose Chilean heritage was woven into every fiber of his being. After graduating from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2022, with honors, he worked proudly as a landscape designer who loved pointing out his firm's projects around San Antonio. Stuart's faith was also the foundation of the values he held, which clearly shined through his character and friendship with others. Watching fellow believers come to accept Christ as their Savior filled Stuart’s heart with immense joy.
He was in his element in the outdoors, whether it was camping, hiking, running, climbing, or his compost bin and well nurtured garden and plants. His dedication to his ultimate frisbee team was a testament to his dynamic spirit.
But, perhaps what defined Stuart the most was his selflessness. He lived life with a generosity that transcended boundaries, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Stuart is survived by his father Ray, his older brother Jerzan, his older sister Dorothy, and his twin brother Benjamin. He is preceded in death by his mother Marisol Hanson Becerra.
The Hanson family will have Celebration of Life at First Baptist Church San Antonio on February 12 at 2 PM.
