My deepest condolences to Sandra’s family and friends.  I worked with Sandra for almost 20 years, but more than a co-worker, Sandra was my friend.  Over the past 30+ years we shared many of life’s joys and sorrows; the births of our children, graduations, weddings, illnesses, and the heartbreak of death of loved one and divorce.  Sandra was one of the strongest women I have ever known.   She faced all of her challenges head on and was not one to let life’s circumstances keep her from remaining positive and energetic even on the really bad days.  I have so many great memories of the fun and laughter we shared; after work parties, holidays, birthday celebrations, lunchtime scrabble games, intramural softball and so much more.
To Daniella, you were her pride and joy.  I am so sorry for your loss. Please know that she will live forever in your heart.  May God bless you and comfort you in the difficult weeks and months come, transforming your grief to joyous memories that you will cherish forever.   
To Mrs. Virella, I know there are no words that describe the grief and pain you must be feeling with the loss of your precious Sandra.  She loved you very much and was totally dedicated to you.  You have been blessed to have her as your daughter.  You are in my thoughts and prayers, may God Bless you.

Sandra was my neighbor, but more than that, she was my friend.  She was there for me when my husband passed.  Sandra, Pat and myself were the "neighborhood trio".  We walked daily, talking and laughing the entire time.  We also went dancing, dinner and concerts.

Daniella, her love for you is forever.  She was so happy when you married.  Sra. Virella, you were a wonderful, caring and loving mother.  Sandra's priority was always her family.  For every moment of grief you endure, I pray there will be 100 times more moments of wonderful memories of Sandra. 

I will miss Sandra so much.  I am proud to call Sandra my friend.

Sandra and I met at work, I attended her wedding,  we worked shift work together and went to dinners, parties and the movies. We would watch the same movies or TV series at home and talk about it at work. We stayed in touch after she retired, she was a very strong women. I will miss her. May you rest pain free my friend...

What I remember the most about Sandra is that she was always smiling and never complained. To the Reyes family and friends, my sincere sympathy and condolences. My name is Rey Ramirez. I worked with Sandra at Kelly AFB, but I retired in 2004. I didn't see Sandra often after I retired, but we did stay in touch off and on. My last memory of her was a trip to Kickapoo with a bunch of our friends, some of which are still working where Sandra last worked. Sandra was always funny and spirited and a joy to be around her. I choose to remember her that way as I know that dreadful illness really took a toll on her. I will always remember Sandra as full of life and she always talked about her daughter Daniella and worried about her and how she could do her best to take care of her as she was recently born, when we were coworkers.
