Samantha was lovingly known to many as “Chaparrita” or “Shorty”. She was a loving and compassionate person who loved to be silly. She had the most beautiful smile that could light up your soul.
The relationship she had with her brother and sister, was like no other Samantha and Victoria not only sisters but best friends. She loved to watch movies with Jon and eat junk food. They shared their secrets, had inside jokes, confided in each other and loved to spend time together. She was someone who left an impression on everyone she met.
As a child she was fun, loving and a bit mischievous. She loved to play with her cousins and get them to play dress up. She loved spending time with her grandparents at church, and learning life lessons from both of them. In middle school she discovered her love for soccer and it became her passion. She played soccer for McCollum High School and a few other leagues. She was always the smallest on the team, but she played like a giant. During the beginning of her her senior year of high school she met the love of her life, Noah Calderon. They quickly became inseparable, then after high school they were engaged.
Her family meant everything to her, and she was always ready for family gatherings. Our “Chaparrita” will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
