Ryan Paul Jonas

Our beloved son and brother, Ryan Paul Jonas (20) was unexpectedly called to his Lord Jesus Christ on July 18, 2011 in Helotes, Texas. His family was blessed with his birth on May 31, 1991. He attended Helotes elementary, Stinson middle school, graduated O’Connor high school in 2009 and was attending Northwest Vista College. Ryan was a member of the O’Connor FFA and was actively involved in the Helotes 4-H club for 10 years. Ryan enjoyed playing sports with the YMCA and the Helotes Little League. He was member of our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Ryan loved playing video games, his cell phone, working out at the gym and going to the deer lease with his dad but most of all he loved hanging out with his friends and the love of his life Brantley. He lived and loved life to the fullest and was always smiling and making other people laugh. He is survived by his parents Richard & Phyllis Jonas of Helotes, his big sister Kelly, his sweetheart and best friend Brantley Vaughan of Helotes, grandparents Leroy Jonas, Betty Jonas, Sam and Mary Kalka, aunts, uncles, cousins, his dogs Josie, Jersey and his cat Tilley. Ryan was loved by all and will live forever in our hearts. In lieu of flowers a donation can be made in his name to the Helotes 4-H scholarship fund, PO Box 212, Helotes, TX 78023. Visitation will be on Thursday, July 21, 2011 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 13715 Riggs Road, Helotes, from 4:00 P.M. with a rosary at 7:00 P.M. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 9:30 A.M. Friday, July 22, 2011 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Helotes, with interment to follow at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Cemetery, Helotes.
