Roy T. Merino, 84, passed away June 20th, 2022. He came from a very small town in New Mexico where met and married our mother. He joined the Navy. Upon completion of his military service he started his successful career as a civil servant with the veterans administration until his retirement. He is a tribute to the values of character and will be greatly missed by all who loved him.
He is preceded in death by his wife Olivia and his daughter Magdalene Merino Nawab.
He is survived by his children and their spouses: Roy M Merino, Farrukh Nawab, Veronica Buitte, Joel V Merino, Grace Merino and Leonard V Merino. His is also survived by his grandchildren and great-grandchild: Sarah Nawab, Danyal Nawab, Lauren Buitte, Sonny Buitte, Ashley Buitte, Aaron Buitte, Noah Merino, Giovanni Merino, Faith Merino and Leonel Maximo De Leon.
