Rosaura T. Garcia

Rosaura T. Garcia was called home to be with the Lord, on November 28, 2013 at the age of 93. She was a loving dedicated wife and mother, who gave all of us the motivation and support to live our lives with a positive attitude. She made many friends and acquaintances throughout her career as an Avon sales representative. She was well known for her beautiful work as a seamstress and most of all enjoyed her passion of Bingo and Loteria She is preceded in death by her loving husband Jose Salvador Garcia Sr. Rosaura was survived by her beloved children; Anna Figueroa, Jose S. Garcia Jr. (Dolores), Margaret Escalante (Santos), David Garcia, Mary Helen Garcia, Richard Garcia, Sylvia Garcia, sisters Delia Leija, Lola Valdez and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great-grandchildren. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 04, 2013 at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A funeral procession will depart Thursday, December 5, 2013 at 11:30 a.m. for a 12:00 noon Mass of Resurrection at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
