Rosalinda A. Garza

Rosalinda A. Garza entered eternal rest on January 13, 2017. She was born in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico to Amando and Delia Arzola on April 3, 1944 and reunites with her parents and siblings, Tina and Hector. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Eliseo Garza Jr.; sons: Eliseo A. Garza III (Frances G.), Marvin Angelo Garza (Christina), Gabriel Anthony Garza (Tania); grandchildren: Elijah, Amber, Ethen, Marvin Jr., Trystan, Julius, Mark; siblings: Alfonso, Roland, Dalia, Clementine, Agnes, Amanda, Alice, Elsie; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Rosalinda was a 1963 graduate of Fox Tech High School and worked for SAISD for 33 yrs. Rosalinda enjoyed, cooking, baking, sewing, and being the one to barbecue at family gatherings. She had a special touch on making delicious tamales, menudo, and barbacoa. She enjoyed the social scene and pressing her luck in Las Vegas or Coushatta. Her love and presence will be missed dearly. The family will be receiving guests at Roy Akers funeral home, 515 North Main Avenue, on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Resurrection will be Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, 1600 St Cloud.
