1935-2015
It is with immeasurable sadness that the Medina Family announces the passing of our beloved mother, Rosa (affectionately called Bama) sister, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.
On March 10, 2015 the kingdom of heaven opened its doors to receive Rosa Evangelina with a choir of angels singing with joy. She passed surrounded by her loving family. From this day forward, she will forever be in God’s glory and she will spend eternity dwelling in the House of the Lord with her beloved husband Jose’ Angel Medina of 57 years. Her new address is 111 Heavenly Drive.
One for the Father, One for the Son, and One for the Holy Spirit. Rosa has a deep Christian faith which sustained her through her illness. She was kind, and yet courageous, and always had a positive attitude. Rosa was a humble woman, whose greatest joy came from simply spending time with her family, grandchildren and great-grandson.
Left to cherish her memories are her beloved sons: Jose A. Medina Jr. (Lou Ann), David Medina, and Daniel G. Medina (Monica). Her daughters: Rose Mary Esquivel (Calistro) and Anna Lisa Medina. Her six grandsons: Nickolas Bryan Garcia (Kimberly); Michael David Medina; Christopher Bryan Medina; Aleksandr Gabriel Htun; Evan Matthew Medina and Joseph Edward Medina, and one granddaughter: Jessica Anice Medina, and one great-grandson: Nickelsen Bradley Garcia. Her sisters: Josephina Gallegos, and Mary Barden (John), Laredo TX. Her brothers: Augustin Jr. (deceased) (Oralia); Martin (deceased) (Paulita); Guillermo (Consuelo); Juan and Mercedes (deceased); Jorge (Rebecca); Pedro Gallegos, all of Laredo, TX.
A beautiful light has gone out but its warmth lingers on forever on our hearts. “Bama”, a large part of our future feels robbed by your passing, but the many happy memories of you will sustain us and keep you alive in our hearts forever…
The family will like to extend a very heartfelt appreciation to the Physician and staff at Methodist Hospital for the gentle and compassionate care provided to their mother.
Family and Friends are welcome to join the Medina Family in memory of Mrs. Rosa Evangelina Medina at Trevino-Palo Alto, 2525 Palo Alto Rd, on Monday, March 16, 2015 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM with a 10:00 AM Memorial Service to be conducted the same day.
In lieu of flowers, if you wish to pay tribute to Rosa, do so with a daily deed or a loving word to someone in need and brighten their day. Arrangements entrusted to the Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Palo Alto.
