Rosa Maria G. Garcia born on December 30, 1943 in San Antonio, TX went to be with the Lord on September 2, 2013 at the age of 69. She was an active and faithful member of El Shaddai Rock of Ages Church. She retired from Texas MHMR after 20 years of service and worked for the Center of Health Care Services. She is preceded in death by her husband, Hernaldo Garcia; parents, Emerijildo and Adela Garza; siblings, Emery Garza and Felicita G. De Leon. She is survived by her sons, Jose Valle and wife, Cindy; Edward Resendez and wife, Sandra; children through marriage; Emily, Gabriel, Becky, Sylvia, and Felipe; grandchildren; Brianna Rose, Julianna, Savanna, Michael, Brianna and Matthew; siblings, Robert M. Garza and wife, Dolores; Gilbert M. Garza, Ernest M. Garza, and Delia G. Lopez. The Family will receive relatives and friends from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. with a Memorial Service at 1:00 p.m. Saturday September 14, 2013. Services will conclude in the funeral home chapel.
