Robert Joseph Hernandez Jr.

Robert Joseph Hernandez Jr. Born Nov 2, 1955 in San Diego California passed away to be with our Lord Aug. 1, 2023 after an illness. Robert was in the Navy from 1973-1977 where he fought in the Vietnam War and where he was a Dental Technician. He volunteered many hours at the American Legion. Buddy loved listening to music and playing his harmonica along with the tunes. Buddy will live in our hearts forever. We love you brother.

Robert is proceeded in death by his parents, Robert Joseph Hernandez Sr. and Anne Marie Hernandez, three sisters, Deloris Anne Voigt, Margaret Anne Burgert & Connie Suzanne Bautista.

He is survived by his sisters, Helene Scrape (Otto), Barbara Schubert, Bessie Treviño (Pio), children, daughter Melissa, son Joey, grandson Killian, granddaughters Ashlyn, Sadie, 6 great grandchildren, Ignasio (Iggy), Ilana, Ricky, Osin, Freya, Wyatt, several nieces, Nephews, Aunts, Uncles & cousins.

A Memorial Service is scheduled Oct. 20, 2023 at 10 AM at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio Texas. Robert’s family would like to thank family & friends for prayers and special messages.
